This is Matanza, some Johnny-Cash-meets-Hardcore-meets-Thrash from Brazil. Their lyrics are kinda western and the songs' moods have that feel.

Bullet for my Valentine, Skillet, Slipknot, and Disturbed are just a few of the band my friend Colleen had got me listening to :D she has an amazing taste in music! :D

Well I don't really listen to SOAD or even metal/hard rock that much these days, my tastes have really changed.
Recently I've been listening to the Arctic Monkeys, Hood, Stars of the Lid, Modest Mouse, Pink Floyd, Faunts, Bark Psychosis, Burial, The Whitsundays, Talk Talk, Brand New et al.
