I need a anti-war poem/song for English class by tomorrow, and I have to analyze it. Yes, I feel very silly posting this on a SYSTEM OF A DOWN site. I'm just not sure which one to choose, now that I have to xD Feel free to suggest anyyhing, as long as it's not "sex dick cocksucker" or too long. Some background info would be nice. -Thank you
Use something by SOAD or Serj. I did all of my free-choice English assignments on SOAD related stuff this year and score perfect marks for everything Super easy, if you know enough about it. Always easier to do work on something you enjoy.
This is a bit late but I suggest choosing some Wilfred Owen texts. Dulce Et Decorum Est is probably your best bet. It's ironic use of a latin phrase for the title (translates as 'it is glorious to die for ones country'), the use of a sonnet which is traditionally used for love poems and the fact Owen was actually taking part in WW1
