It's possible, John always announces their shows on facebook!

I made 2 of those 87 comments, lol.
There's a good chance I could fly to Vegas to see them. :D

Also, just getting Daron out of his comfort zone and back on the road could be good news for everyone eventually. Maybe we'll get that canceled tour after all! And with a few new songs to make it even better this time!

it kinda shows how reluctant they are to play more shows or announce a tour when they have to ask whether people will bother coming to a show. Seems like they don't have much confidence unfortunately.. They know their core fan base is in LA..but I reckon if they're smart with their venue choice, they could sell out a show. they could probably sell out a tour of venues with capacities of 1000 max.

let's wait and see...at least this shows they're willing to branch out, fingers crossed it may lead to something more

It hurts to see how much they suck at promoting their own band.

They really try to promote their band? Lol, if yes, then yeah, they suck at that.

These one off shows would be better as part of a small club tour. Hopefully the reasoning for so few shows is that a new Scars album is on the way.

It's totally weird, thought, isn't it? IS there any reasoning? IS there another album on the way? ARE they seriously trying to "promote" anything at this point?

I love them to pieces and I had tickets to 3 shows on the North American tour in 2008 that still mock me. Their last "official" word was that when Daron canceled the tour, the "project" (i.e. Scars on Broadway) was over. And that we'd always have the music and the memories. :/

So this new interest on the part of Daron is a good thing, which I would only be happy to encourage. I don't know if those 2 LA shows were just a matter of Daron trying to get comfortable again, but if they were, I'd say he passed the test with flying colors!

It's funny that you mention the 3 tickets that you never got to use, because even when their "North America" was announced, there were no dates bringing them near the San Francisco Bay Area. I was sad about it lol.

Your points regarding Daron's renewed interest were right on. I'm so excited that they are doing ANYTHING right now!
