yep, I have noticed it. I have to check it again, but that would be a 2 minute work in audacity to switch the channels, no need to rerecord it! Maybe I have just plugged it the wrong way. I'll have to upload other stuff as well, so before I do this, I gonna check it again so I can reupload them.
I know the rips you're talking about. They're great. It's probably just a matter of taste, but in the end, I would prefer mine, though I can see your point.

Hehehe, glad you appreciated the opinions of this old lady, Lang! Not sure if I'm an audiophile, and you boys truly lose me in the technicalities. But I do have an excellent ear, always have. And I've got a passion for these early songs, well, ALL the songs.

Like Greg Watermann suggested when we were talking to John's drum tech Sako in Denver, when I was asking him about John's different drum kits? I'm indeed a "superfan", for what it's worth.

And I'm looking forward to more of your FLACs. I'm not even entirely sure my Self-Titled album sounds this great, but I usually listen to it in my car, more likely than not when I've had a rough day & I've got some personal rage to express. But I should probably listen to it with headphones here at home some time. Because surely a studio recording (with the help of Rick Rubin, no less!) should be even more amazing than these demos. And I'm not entirely sure it is! (Peephole, Know, Soil &War? at least).

Okay, I'm preparing a massive upload of scans and the corrected 2nd and 3rd Demotape (thanks for notifying me about the switched channels, seems like they've got wrong left-right labels on the deck). I also have the rips of 1st demotape, but they ain't ready yet, because system really put a shitty recording on tape back in 1995 and that makes me want to remove some of the clicks, pops and crackle, which might also partly be due to the fact that the tape is 15 years old. Anyway, I'll upload both the edited and unedited versions once it's ready. But sadly, it's not, yet.

Oh, and in case you wonder, there's a picture of the 4th demo among the scans, but sadly, it's just a picture from the old forums, it's not mine.

The first demo should appear within the next few days, depending on how much time I have left for it.

Too bad that never happens with a chic :)

The positive feedback is much appreciated!
If university hadn't kept me busy for the last few days, the 1st demo rips would have already been uploaded.

Btw., if you like to put them in some kind of download section or whatever else that comes to your mind, you're free to do so, and though I don't request this, I would then be very pleased to see some credits 8-)
