Opinions - Enjoyed it...I just wish Serj's vocals matched the aggression of the song itself. This is probably the closest song to a "system" song that Serj has done by himself. Like I said, if 2002 Serj was doing the vocals instead, the song would be a masterpiece...instead it's merely "good"

Edit: What I really do like is that System's touring has really influenced his musical creativity again. His music is intriguing and actually constructed very well. This song alone is 1,000,000x better than anything from IH.

Once again, nothing is 'musically' wrong... for the most part. But as you said, having 2000 - 2002 Serj singing on it would be incredible. I'm not sure I agree with this being his most 'System' song.. at parts it is (Stealing Society/U Fig eqsue)

EDIT - If I'm honest, I wouldn't be surprised if the System guys are playing on some of this and everyone goes nuts when they look at the album credits.

best part of uneducated democracy is @ 1:34. It's very difficult to hear but if you invert one channel it's clear. he says in his best redneck accent, "I'll be sittin' on my porch, doing nothin' all day. mmh hmm"

After a couple of listening, I find this song okay, not bad, not a masterpiece either. So far, only Harakiri is consider a good song in my opinion. For whatever reason, I decided to listen back to Whoring Streets live from Kroq, and no doubt, I sure Malakian will satisfy us way more than Serj.

I love how hard that song is, and the way it puts his poetry into a melodic context. I'm really getting stoked for this album.

And I liked the bits I heard from the 2 bonus tracks. The one called Revolver reminds me a bit of Dreaming, even, although I will respectfully disagree with Cracker that System could be involved in these new works. I can differentiate John's drumming from Troy's, and Mario's bass playing from Shavo's.

This is gonna blow Imperfect Harmonies way out of the water & quite possibly be better than Elect the Dead. I'm thinking maybe that playing with System last year kind of brought Mr. Tankian back to his proper musical roots, the actual heavy rock/metal ones.

It was the fact he was touring which put the idea in my head that the riffs are more Malakian esque. Serj has wrote songs on tour before (Gate 21 was written during the ETD tour I believe) and so I kind of presumed maybe Serj ended up using takes of Daron. But as he 'wrote' the song entirely it would be wrong to label it a System track. Who knows? I could be fantasising a conspiracy.
