@Jon: You don't work for Serj anymore? :o

As for the Jazziz Christ teaser, I'm glad to hear it. Despite having heard Serj's desire to piss off the jazz purists and the religious right at once with the name of the project, the image transcends those goals to an extent which could alienate true fans. As well as true Christians who agree with Serj in seeing those "moral majority" types as fakes/hypocrites.

I warm welcome hello to Jon. I remember you fondly from the Serj forum.

I'm glad they are placeholders, I suspected so.
Except the orca one. Something like that but more refined.

@Cracker: Thanks for moving these posts!

;)

So Jon, you must still be working for Serj in SOME capacity, right? If you are the one in charge of making the actual final Jazziz Christ cover?

I know who you are & enjoyed your role in the Imperfect Harmonies contest on SerjTankian.com back when, and I also enjoyed your posts on John Dolmayan's personal FB page.

Jon must have been involved with the new album too, he can be seen in the Figure it Out mailbox video behind the scenes.

The IH Contest as well, one of the most fun weeks on the Internet. That's not even hyperbole.

Heh, thanks guys :) Didn't expect anyone to remember me from those things.

@mom45, I moved back home around Christmas time to be with family, Serj was very understanding and had no problem with me leaving. He and I are still good friends, so he asked me to do the Jazz-iz album cover. If you think the place holder image is offensive, the final cover might make you picket in the streets.

@cracker, Good eye. I directed that video around Thanksgiving before I left. It was just myself, two of my good friends from college, Serj & Sevag having fun for a day. I think because it was just a group of people who were all comfortable with each other the video came out a lot more natural and funny. It was originally supposed to be this goofy 30 second teaser clip for facebook, and it eventually became one of the cornerstones of this albums release. Super exciting stuff.

[Edit: also, I got your PM mom45, but I apparently haven't posted enough on the forums to send PM's. Serj never hired a replacement when I left, so any street teaming stuff would be done through Warner Bros Records. I doubt they've set up any sort of swag packs or posters, because you'd be seeing them on ebay / there would be a street teaming website set up by now.]

I can't wait to see the end cover dude.

It was hilarious, and like you said, the fact that it was purely goofing around makes it so.

I'll see I can somehow make you able to send PM's as you are a person and not a bot.

Also, what's up with Serjical Strike? The website had a closure and revamp to what it is now a while ago and it seems that Serjical Strike is kind of... over?

EDIT - I cannot change that, so you'll have to post spam a few times ;)

No problem, I'll just pray for your eternal soul. ;)

Aww, that's too bad. I've got friends (who have also met Serj) who are going to the System shows in Boston & Washington DC who would have been glad to help too.

Just keep spamming until you can. I think it is 20 posts... I'm not sure though.
